I have a horse on trial at the minute, and I was just wondering how much you all think she's worth.

15.1hh tbx mare, dappled grey, very pretty. 5 years old so still a little green, but has done showjumping up to 2"6 and has scope to go a lot higher, and has done a little cross country. Very bold jumper, and enjoys it a lot.
Lovely to ride on the flat, beautiful paces and very comfortable. Has won eqitation classes at local shows.
Quite good out hacking but a bit spooky with silly little things, fine in all traffic.
Quite difficult when tacking up, won't stand still and tries to nip when you do the girth up.
Easy to do, comes to call in the field and good to box and shoe.

Not sure if I can post pics as she isn't mine

Think i would only look to pay about £3500 for something of her age, with what she has done!

others may say more or less but i personally wouldnt want to pay any more

however difficult to give a definate price without pics of flatwork, jumping, confo etc

If it helps I bought a lovely 4yo unbacked grey mare last year for £2500. Im not selling her but with all the work I have put into her I would be expecting at least £3500, she sounds very similar. But if they ask for less you have a bargin.

On the other hand, your very lucky to get a "test drive" which implies that the current owner is confident she doesnt have any major hang ups. Therefore if they do as for a little more it might be worth paying it if you are happy with the mare. It can take a long time to find a good horse and all the tarvelling can be costly,

Good luck with her!

Around 3k. Still young, and green, but with potential. Those don't sell for as much as they used to and she does have the odd quirk. If she's pretty the price would proabbyl go up a bit.
