Providing Beau stops trying to kill himself through various injuries
we are hoping to get out and about soon.
At the moment I have him insured for £1000, just a low amount because my main concern was vets fees and public liability, however I would like to increase that amount now, so if heaven forbid the worse did happen, I could afford another horse.
So his stats:
6yr old BWB x ISH by Ramiro B.
Passport says 17.2hh but he is about 17.3hh now.
Bright bay, good conformation.
Temperment and experience:
No vices, taught my novice nervous OH to ride, has never put a hoof wrong in the time we have had him, good in traffic, hacks alone and in company, first or last, independant, has horses crashing into him, doesnt bat an eyelid, good to do anything with, unflappable. not a plod though, responsive ride.
Bought as a young dressage prospect by previous owner to do affiliated dressage with, has had dressage training, knows some lateral movements, and counter canter, flying changes etc (sorry Im not really a dressage buff, he knows a lot more than me!)
Has big elevated floaty paces, very balanced.
Huge jump, never strong, snaffle mouth in ANY situation.
My little brother and novice stepdad also ride him, he is a saint.
Unfortunately lots of untapped potential I think, we are hoping to do some showing this summer.
For us its his temperment that makes him irreplacable, I would trust him with a toddler on board.
Honest opinions please, I know he hasnt done a lot.
