A how much question on behalf of a friend...

My friend is selling a 5 year old sec B gelding and wondered how much he might be worth? He's about 12hh and is bombproof. He jumps and would do handy pony, PC, etc. Apparently he has extremely good bloodlines but I can't remember them. Perhaps some welshy fans can mention some famous names and stir my memory?

Two grandish?? Have a look at horsedeals or the H&H websites for comparisons.

Between one and a half to two grand, he is still quite young and only children will be able to ride him so can't ask too much though he does sound like a good pony. If he's pretty with fgood conformation then showing people would probably like him but if not then he'd still make a good allrounder. You could probably push for two grand if he was really well schooled and bred.

She's asking less than that and he's not shifting yet. At least we know it's not because he's overpriced then. Maybe the wintery weather is putting people off!

I woudnt pay 2k personally. Id be looking at between £900 and £1200.
