Right, I'm pony hunting again, this is what I would like in a pony, how much do you reckon I would be looking at please?

14-15h
Chunkier native/native cross type
Character far more important than looks (not interested in showing)
Up to 16 years old
Wanted for PC type activities
General kidstuff fun pony that is going to say "OK then, here we go" whatever it's asked to do (with my daughter, probably come into the house)
Basically Mr or Mrs Been there, Done That, Read the Book.

You should easily find one for around $2,500. There are lots about but the trouble is whether you are willing to travel or not.

Older horses over here may surprise you - they often ask for more for oldies than they do for young ones.

Yeah, I agree £2500 - £3000. anything quiet tends to have a big price tag unless it's ancient.

Ooooh, you've described Chex exactly! No idea of price though, might find one for £2k. Chex was £1500, but that was 9 years ago.
