Here's Kelly today. Opinions would be brill!

She got diagnosed with Cushings and put on meds at Christmas and she was very hairy, her coat was quite dull and she wasn't herself.

She is very fast getting her spirit back (had an argument with a helicopter in the field yesterday ), and we have spent hours upon hours grooming her every day - her coat is coming out thick and fast (very unusual for a Cushings horse???) but we don't know whether thats the meds, the weather or the supplement she's having!

We are so unbelievably proud of her and how far she's come...considering we thought we were going to lose her at Christmas, even though it's been a long, long road and we've still a good way to go, we are so pleased.
Here she is. She's currently on a couple of scoops of Molichop (the laminitic one) a day with garlic, seaweed and spearmint, a bit of Cortaflex and some Cushy Life supplement, and about 4 leaves of hay a day (spread out) soaked. She has an hour in a little mini paddock on her own and its more or less bare so her grazing is very restricted. ETA she has 1mg of Prascend a day too.

I don't feel qualified to answer in any sort of technical way but to my novice eye she looks lovely.
I really love those dapples - looks pretty healthy to me!

Thank you!! :)
Me and her mum have been coming away from the yard with more hair on us than her lol!
She looks like she's suffering from alopecia she has little patches where the hair has come out and then its long in other places, bless her. I think we are on the up, fingers crossed.
