To all of you who replied to my cancer post.

You don't know how much this has helped me both from practical and knowing I am not alone in this point of view. I have had a lot of help and advice from various forums I have posted on. I am going to print them out and put them in a little book and when I am feeling down, I will read them to remind me that I can get through this, and I will also get Andy to read them.

Andy said he noticed Farra had packed her bags and is ready to live out on grass with your girls and do bugger all. Stinky is dreaming of a hot shower and being pampered by Sarah. Unfortunately, Stinky is going to have to cry for his hot shower, and Farra is out of luck for her summer of stuffing grass and doing nothing. My YO has said he will do all the livery I need and Theresa_W will also help me.

I am now looking forward to a warm summer evening, sitting in the field watching others poo pick. I will just need a nice glass of pimms for a perfect end to the day.

If I have a big sign on my back saying lady with cancer and one tit - do you think that will make others let us win the working cob? I have been told nope, that is cheating, but I suppose I ought to get something out of this bloody inconvenience to my showing season.

I will keep you all updated of how things go and am now thinking about how to organise a Ride for Life on horseback - I don't do running.
 
I have family also affected by cancer as well as my past horse (RIP) and through my business a ride for life in East Anglia is something I am looking to put together for next spring/summer time.

Location/distance/route/track ect is something I am currently looking to. I run the race for life every year and It such an emotional day so to do a ridden one is a big deal for me and i would hope that many people would support this idea.

I didnt see your last post but if its you, a freind,family member i really hope you or they are one of the lucky ones. I have lost family members and currenlty have a family member going through it all at the moment plus a friend of mine and its heat breaking for everyone inviolved

Christ, just gone and read your original post(don't post much these days so missed it) and I've come over all cold.

Only person I knew with breast cancer got the all clear after almost a year of treatment and mastectomy and as far as I know is hail and hearty and full of life

Massive hugs coming your way xx I haven't seen your other post, but will have a look for it. That took me by quite surprise and gave me goose pimples reading it. I wish you all the strength in the world, with plenty of healing vibes. xx

I have had my fair share of experience with family members with cancer. My mum has had cancer a few times and has come out of the other side healthy as ever. Stay strong, and stay positive. Let people help you and take the support they offer. You need to think about you now. I know it has been some crazy head mashing stuff for me to have dealt with, I don't think I ever truely understood it, so I can't imagine how you must feel. xx

Enjoy your horses and take it easy! You won't need that sign on your back, you and Stinky are a beautiful partnership and will do well xx
 
Glad to see you are dealing with this with humour. Hang onto your sense of humour as it will probably help you through some dark days during your treatment

Theresa, love the idea for the slogan.. but I wouldn;t rush out and order the t shirt just yet. If a positive attitude count for anything you aint gonna need it!!
 
someone on here organised a sponsored ride for wear it pink day last year. I think it was up in the north of scotland somewhere. She posted some great photos.
Maybe that's something else you could plan for in your area, I'm sure you'd get lots of support.
