OK so this barely qualifies as CR but I don't think they'll see it elsewhere!
They can now share the award for Nicest HHO'er. FJ alerted me to an open schooling session at our nearby Equestrian Centre (SNEC, with two huge indoor schools). She then bullied/persuaded me to take both my horses and promised that both she and FC would be there to help. Bear in mind I've never taken the two of them anywhere together (they are rather annoyingly bonded); have ridden the "sensible" one twice in 6 weeks. Oh and the young one hasn't been ridden in - ummmm - 18 months, due to various injuries, weather, car fails, trailer fails, lack of arenas and lots of other scaredy-cat excuses!
Basically the pair of them tacked up, untacked, legged up, groomed, washed down, hung on, comforted, reprimanded, chivvied, loaded, unloaded and acted like all round superstars, whilst I ambled up and got on
. Well not quite but I was finding it a bit stressful thinking about getting on the baby, not least as the two charming mares did a good line in distraught separation anxiety, and both made some interesting shapes both in the trailer and the arena
FJ and FC gave the perfect amount of encouragement and calmness to the whole thing.
Anyway FC drew the short straw and was on the end of the lunge line as I got back on after the said 18 month break. Little pony was pretty much ,a star -apart from terrifying us all by first shaking like a Labrador with me on board, full body style, making us all think she was about to explode. And then nearly rolling before I got off!. In her defence she's very hairy, she got quite sweaty, and was VERY VERY itchy! Anyway it was all very successful so a massive thanks to the pair of them, and I hope they now realise they are on duty for months to come

Waffly pointless post over. I did take the Flip but "forgot" to tell them
so no pics or vid. Which is maybe just as well
