15hh mare, 5/6 years (late 5 or early 6..).
Good breeding for showing (WHPs).
jumping 2"9ft/3ft courses, could BSJA. Jumped 3"6ft at home. Doesn't spook at fillers, well behaved at shows.
hunter trials at 2"3ft/2"6ft clear in all, placed in a 2"6ft ODE, fine over ditches, water skinnies etc.
done pony club rallies.
Very attractive, heaps of presence, 100% clean limbs with no blemishes etc and really straight moving.
Done a few prelim dressages, highly placed/won.
Really good temp when ridden and to handle, not a nasty bone in body. 100% to do EVERYTHING (box, shoe, clip etc etc). Hacked alone and in company, doesn't batter an eyelid at any traffic.
snaffle mouth with no martingale for everything.

How much would you pay for a horse like this?

If I had the money- i would be willing to pay £4500 for it. But I was at a local riding club meeting the other day and a lot of people were saying that due to high hay/straw/cereal prices this year keeping horses is so much more costly this winter so people dont have as much to spend these days (sorry a bit off topic) but if I had the money i would be happy to pay that no problem.

Are you serious?!!

I've got several similar sat at home you can have for that sort of money!!

I think she's currently worth about 3-3.5k but if you could show her and prove her worth as a WHP/SHP then you'll be talking upwards of 5k

I would like to see her jumping higher than 3ft away from home cos of the height of 15hh WHP fences (thats if you are selling her for showinf)

What sort of breeding is she?

There's a big difference in unaff and affil SJ for a horse of this size. (Believe me I've been there) Some 15hh ride like ponies and can't make the distances. Even good striding 15hhers only just make it on a forward stride. So I think price depends a lot. I'd give it a try and see if she can make it.

If she's doing that well at Prelim go out and do some novices. That will increase her price a lot.

At the moment I'd pay about £3.5K, but with not a lot more work, just a few more comps, I think she'd be worth a good £5k.

Thanks everyone.
She hasn't done all of this yet, it's what I'm hoping to have done with her by when I sell her.

Her shire was Errimus Top Of The Morning.
I say she is 15hh, but if someone wanted to BSJA her she could get measured as 14.2hh, so she could do the pony tracks. However if we sell her as a show pony she would also measure 15hh.. shes one of those heights which could be either/or.

Don't know yet which market to aim her towards. It all depends on what we find she excells at most over the next few months, but she can't half jump!

Do you think she's chunky enough to be a WHP/SHP? They have to be a big 15hh tbh to get anywhere.

I think the money is as an event pony, get her measured and then decide what to market her as.....

IMO if she's actually 14.2, not 15hh, she won't stand up to much as a WHP in the show ring as most of them in there will actually be 15.1/2hh (that have been measured down), so she'll look miniature. You need to get a stick on her and find out. My friend shows a 15hh at county standard WHP. She is ACTUALLY 15hh as is usually the one of the smallest in the class.
