A.I. vet package?

What are the packages? I have not been offered a package...!

What are the benifits? is worth me asking even thou I have started?

I asked our vet about this - its a one off payment that covers everything... all the scans etc., the insemination (sp) etc.,

Our vet is charging £255.00 + VAT for the deal which i think is pretty good..

Its the first time we have used AI....

My friend uses one when her mare goes to End House Stud, she swears by it, includes scans , etc, works out much cheaper especially if your mare needs more than one scan/incemination.
Ask them for a complete breakdown of what it includes and if there are any exclusions.

i used one , it works out much cheaper ,even if you have started i would ask and see

but if your mare dosent take the first time is it like my vets where you have to pay this all over again ? eughh could become v~expensive

Phoned the vets. They don't offer a package but will see if they can do anything for me as already had 8 visits or so and currently about to do second attempt... so far I think it has cost me in just vet bills £300...

My vet charges £325 + Vat. This includes up to three cycles which is just aswell as my mare is on her third attempt this year as she hasn't taken yet!!
Home visits are extra and the livery is only upto 7 days so any additional is extra.
