A lesson with

It was actually hatched one day when I was wandering round the gallops (at walk) thinking I wonder what a lesson with Kerilli would be like - then I was like, what about a lesson with ... and .... and .... wow I'd love to have a lesson with .... and it came from there!!

just pm'd you Kitsune but computer might have eaten it, went weird after and gave me a horrible white page and gobbledegook computery stuff...

just to say that i'm still v glad to do a few sessions but as i'm currently on crutches my style will be a bit cramped, i'll be better in 4-6 wks. can do it now (teaching at the weekend actually) but i'd rather be mobile so i can have hands-on input if necessary, so pls put me to end of list for this area if pos...
 
maybe we best make sure you do yours on the mechanical horse mrs M

had to have poorly knee operated on for ACL reconstruction at the weekend, and when superdooperdooper lovely mega knee surgeon got in there and had a look, he decided to do 'microfractures' of rhs of joint (as was bone on bone) so i have 4 weeks of no weight bearing at all (utter freaking nightmare) on pain of Severe Telling Off.
so, if it looks as if i'm spending far too much time on here... i am. anything to take my mind off the pain...
hot choc is on the Wish List, so a Virtual one will do nicely ta. i'll take the hug too please, and try not to snivel.

ahem, i did not "fall" off, i got launched off by v v naughty youngster! (trying to salvage a little teensy bit of pride...) onto already-knackered knee that, unbeknownst to me, was gradually deteriorating since last op, and had lasted 8 yrs when 5 was the maximum anyone else's had lasted...

well I was going to point out there are many good reasons for having something over the age of 15 and vertically challenged.

..... though admitedly less good for eventing on and actually that idea is completely flawed given my time spent injured over last year..... !

you were also mad and managed to take said bad baby back to the stable and untack it before going to hospital iirc! so you def still have the pride!

I do hope it gets sorted by better superdooper knee man though, maybe I should start a local hot chocolate takeaway

Can the lessons be group ones - if they aren't already? Perhaps slightly longer than an hour and double the donation? We have an eventing riding club and some fab equpiment and venues and always on the lookout for different instructors. We could do anyone out of the area who'd travel some accomodation and good food...
 
We do have instructors offering group lessons yes. However ultimately it is up to the Instructors wether they are happy to travel to a venue in order to teach, this can be discussed once the lesson is won.
 
*Please be aware I had have oodles of people trying toput their name down with me - YOU CANNOT DO THIS - I am glad you are all interested but you must wait until the relevant thread comes up - you'll all have an equal chance so don't fret!!*
