A light hearted question for the ladies...........

Sorry for total ignorance, but what does VPL stand for?I think iv geussed the gist of what it means :p but not what it actually stands for...Hilarious post btw ;D ;)

I usually go for the lyrca mini-shorts type pants. I go to the gym and yoga in them too - supportive, covering and the line doesn't show up in tight clothing!

I've ridden in thongs too though, but only my softer comfier ones. Essentially any underwear that stays where it is - 'creepers' can be excruciating when riding or exercising!

I always mean to wear a sports bra too (not that i'm particularly big at a B cup) but never seem to mange it and always end up riding in very pretty but ridiculously unsupportive lace or silk numbers  :D

I am totally with you on this one! Every time I regret it too, after a little too much "bouncing" results in not really being in the bra at all! :S

Haha think yourself lucky - I have to wear 2 sports bras!

Oh and small as poss knickerwise, I feel like I'm wearing a nappy in big pants!

Loved reading through this thread, it definately made me chuckle :D

It has to be a thong for me a well, can't stand it when the seams dig into your legs and bum on big pants :(

I never wear bum floss, and definitely not when I ride!

I prefer hot pants/girl boxer shaped knickers at all times ... well, most times ;)

M&S cotton bikini pants for me - thongs make me shudder and I certinaly wouldn't ride in them. I did make the mistake once of riding in some pretty lacey flimsy bikini knickers and they were also very, very uncomfortable!

Posts on this forum have had me in tears today, crying and laughing!!! I love it!

n the issue of undies, always the big knickers! I dont pay £5 for a pair of knickers for £2.50 to dissapear up my ar$e!!!!!!

the ones that encompass it all then keep themselves inplace with decent elastic, so they neither ride up or fall down, so when i'm on the horse its one thing i don't need to worry about, i can ride oblivous to my underwear.

Either item in the winter as there are plenty of layers covering up the ultimate in unattractive sights - upper thong peeking out from beneath waistband of jods or jeans if just wearing a teeshirt. Can be seen often when bending down to pick out hooves etc. Not a good look whatever the figure, but especially bad if there's a muffin top accompanying it

Apple catchers, I love it!
I do prefer to wear bigger pants for comfort while riding yes, sometimes I don't and its not so good  This only happens if I run out of big pants which is all too easy as I have so few
