A list of adjustable saddles....

I have a K&M cob GP which is ok but restricts my Haflinger's shoulders a bit as well as not great for my position so looking for a dressage now. I am looking at the Isabell Werth Wintec and Bates as they are quite popular for horses of this shape. Also the GFS Genesis is quite similar and good prices in comparison (the Isabell Werth synthetic is still holding 2-300 quid second hand on eBay). There is also a K&M synthetic dressage knocking around that is meant to be a copy of the Isabell Werth design... There was a pretty new one on preloved for 149 quid.
 
I have a gfs haflinger on my haflinger - I've had 5 saddles in 6 years, this one is perfect for him, it's a nice enough saddle, reminds me a bit of the bates quality wise, the bates damaged his back. I've just bought a kent and masters cob for my welsh d
 
I have wow saddles - started out on a 16.3 Dutch wb, then onto a 16hh skinny ex racer, then a 15hh welsh cross, then a 16hh Appaloosa. All different shapes. I've had to buy a different shape panel in that time costing less than £200.

Yes i 100% need an adjustable - typical new forest pony! I also like the fact that if/when i do get something else the likelihood of the saddle fitting something else is a lot more than a none adjustable.

I looked for ages to find something for my New Forest x. I tried Ideal which fit initially fit but then couldn't be altered to be wide enough. I now have a 16.5 GFS XW. It's by far the best I've tried on her - it's an older one, so not adjustable but if I was getting another one for a New Forest, I would definitely be going for an adjustable GFS - mine sits nicely on her very flat back!
 
Our NF (also by Royal Oak Ron , so may well be similar shape to yours) is in a Kent & Masters GP, generally on the medium gullet, sometimes medium wide (I think). However we only use it with the girth on the back 2 girth straps, on the instruction of the saddler, she did have to try quite a few saddles too. It always seems to fit him really well, he goes a treat in it. The leather isn't IMO quite as good as a GFS saddle we used to use for another pony, it always needs feeding, but comes up lovely so long as you keep on top of it (currently use Stubben Hamanol). It's a very comfy saddle too, everyone who rides him says so.

As a 'spare' we also use the old Wintec 2000 which he came with and funnily enough fits all 3 of our steeds at the moment with reasonable success, on the wide gullet (13.2 show pony, 16.1 slim warmblood), but the K&M isn't good on the other 2 (both have high withers) .
