A little acheivement but big for me...

Tonight my mare finally grasped cantering over jumps...and she really enjoyed it!

We have had control issues in canter so this was a great thing for us tonight. She has gone from running out at practically every fence and tanking off after - to me pointing her at a jump and off she goes herself! Its so much more fun when shes enjoying it too

Not a little achievement at all! I love to see horses happily cantering into fences and many never achieve it. Well done and keep it up but be prepared for the odd backward step!

Thanks PR - she had never jumped before I had her so literally didnt know what the hell she was supposed to do!

Fantastic! No stopping you now then - except for the expected backward step that they all take during some part of their training! But stay focussed and remember - you know now that she CAN do it!
