As I am moving my 2 horses soon, planning the move is taking some time. (complicated - much!)
As I only have an ifor single, I had planned on taking bigger mare in it, with my dad coming to the rescue of smaller mare and 'stuff' in his very VERY old double. Well, after thinking too much, the old rice trailer isn't really road worthy anymore, smaller mare hasn't travelled much and dad can be a bit of a plank = that plan wasn't coming together too well!!
On a seperate note, Mother is stressing about EVERYTHING too much, and myself saying I have things under control isn't helping as mother wants the lead role still. (darling mum is an oap now, but doesn't like that idea!)
So, while at work, my boss asks how things are going. 'Working on it' was my reply. 'Do you want to borrow the lorry if it helps' she says next. Well, that might just be a small gesture, but it goes along way. I accept her offer, and feel a little relieved.
What makes it better by miles, is I tell mum, who bursts into tears. Its obviously a huge relief to her too!! And, I need not bother dad, who is plenty busy doing his own thing.
