A little poll, Which do you prefer?

Just out of interest i have 2 pictures taken year on year of Taf - Condition wise which do you all think looks better for the showring?
Summer 2008

Summer 2009

He looks to be working better and maybe a bit leaner in pic 2 so I would go with 2009

Hmm two very different photos... I'm going to go for the second one as he appears to have less of a belly. However, overall he's no good that coblet, I'll take him off of your hands for you.

2009 but that might be because he is going better in the second photo

That first picture is my novice son riding him so he isnt what you'd call being ridden (hoping josh doesnt read this!)

Thats what i think i think he has lost too much neck which is why i put the post in? He is extremely fit and lean just now and he looks great and moves much better maybe thats a price to pay

2009 with out a doubt and that is just from looking at his condition, nothing to do with how he's been ridden etc.

I would say 2009, because he is going beautifully and is leaner. Isn't the difference in his neck partly an optical illusion because the 2008 photo his mane is the other side (so you can see the full crest) but in 2009 photo his mane distracts from the outline? I think he is lovely

I think he looks leaner and more toned in the second picture.

He looks much better in the 2009 photo, but for showing he would probably be better as in no 1 picture.
