No option for mine which are on varied routines but as a rule they are out 24/7 whilst the grass is growing and then in with limited turnout not on grass whilst the grass is not growing. Currently I have three in and two still out 24/7 but that will change over the next couple of weeks.

One lives out 24/7 all year round but has a stable if, for weather or injury reasons etc, she has to come in.

One is still out 24/7 and will stay out until there really is no grass at all. He can't have hay or haylage so is better out than in.

One came in this week having been out 24/7. He hates the cold and wet and was starting to drop weight. He's in at night only and will stay that way now until spring.

I can't answer as it depends on the weather!

Have been in 24/7 the past week as fields are saturated however out today from around 11-4 ish.
If it gets colder next week and ground dries/freezes then YM will allow them out.

Either way - in or out Lacey is very happy and chilled out.
We have a play pen so if they're in she goes in there in the morning and then ridden in the evening. :)

Mine are out in the day and in at night all year round. Summer they are out 12 hours a day, winter time it can vary anything from 4-8 hours a day depending on the weather.

My horse is out 24/7 in the summer but in the winter she comes in through the daytime and goes out at night in plenty of rugs until the fields become untenable, then she comes in for most of the time but gets a couple of hours turnout every day plus exercise plus the horse walker. She does really well on this, not least, I think, because she is a bit precious about mud and will lurk at the gate waiting to come in!

Mine has been in for a few weeks now, but then went back out over firework weekend. Only bought him in early as he is in new stable that he LOVES and I've never had that with him in 10 years, so I'm spending all my money on bedding, but the novelty will wear off eventually I'm sure! If he was in his old stable he would have been out 24/7 until last night when they all came in.

He will be in during most days in summer to keep weight off =)

Mine is out 24/7 and will be over the winter. He's in a huge field with loads of grass and not showing any signs whatsoever of wanting to be in. Even when I bring him in for his feed I have to go over to him to catch him as he's too busy eating the grass.

Mine is out 24/7 now as not in much work :) Will stay out 24/7 untill I get him fit again.
Some (6/13) are in at night at the moment- just depends what they are doing :)

My girl's in at night all year round. :) She's a good doer and actually doesn't like being out too long particularly in bad weather. When she's had enough she won't think anything of jumping gate and making her way back to stable block :)

Although I've only had mine for 5/6 months, he is and always will be stabled at night. I'm on my grandad's yard; so both his and mine come in - by about 4/5o'clock they're fed up of being out and want their lovely warm stables :)

Mostly in now as we are on clay and with the wet it tears it up far too much - when it dries out a bit and looks like staying dry for a couple of days all mine with be out for a few hours - god bless the horsewalker and floodlit school !!!!

Ditto this, he even ran away from me when I went out to bring him in this afternoon to ride:mad:fool:D

My share will be coming in every other day time within the next couple of weeks. He will still be out every night and every other day, alternating with the girls (he shares with a colt) I think it shoudl work out really well, he loves living out but a few hours every other day in a stable will do his soggy crumbling hooves good. And maybe his waisteline since they have a huge bale of haylage to munch on all day when out in the field. He gets worked 6 days a week so should get plenty of excercise.

Mine came in at night Tusday, with all the rain the fields got too wet and YO doesn't like them churned up at all, we are still able to put them out during the day for the moment but depending on the weather they may have to go in their winter paddocks soon.
