Of the good things this forum can do 
When I collected this thing
She was friendly, loving, cuddly and utterly and totally bewildered. She's turned our family upside down, cost the equivalent of the national debt in vet fees, grooming fees and general spoiling
and has totally given my parents a new lease of life.
Some pics from tonight:
Sleeping on my feet - she knows I won't feed her from the table but she lives in hope
Cat watching - Stanley was munching a mouse
New bed. Note she still has the tatty teddy she came with though she ate its face
And one of Yellow Dog so he doesn't feel left out
She had her stitches out yesterday. She was so good, she just lay down and we rolled her over and the vet went to work She's putting weight back on again, she lost loads when she was ill 
but she's getting there
