..I am happy!
We had one change, swaped one for another.
Ok, so first appointment was at 9. He was a lovely horse, with excellent breeding-by Vetcha, out of a Cavalier mare(who was sold by the Billy stud) He used to have a Cavalier name, but that changed and Pippa F suggested he have a Billy prefix!
Anyway, stats: Chestnut geld, 16.3hh, 7 this year. He has 6 points, done 2 1*'s, including Aldon which I hear was very tricky. She gave him a ride and a jump and I liked very much. The distance for the double was very long but he still popped it beautifuly(he has a huge jump!). So I got on, and loved him! He had a really lovely jump, very easy and flicks his back legs out. Then had a gallop and he had a huge stride. They liked my riding, and I liked the horse so that was great. So moved onto next horse...

2 hours later...arrive at the next yard. Lovely little mare, 16.1 by Mayhill, v.compact. She has 27 points, a great record at 6/7. Then last year she did her first Intermediate, but had a fall near the end and hasn't competed since. So I got on after watching her rider. Totally different to the other one, compact little ball and lovely paces. Her extended trot was to die for! Then had a jump, again very different, bouncy and nice. She is more like poney and I think I will bond v.quickly with her, but maybe not as scopey as number 1.

Number 3. Hillocks farm. Looked at three in the stable, one was full sister to CK's Idol Hero and they had high hopes for her, but was maybe a bit too good. So got on one, by P. Rising, rising 7, 5BE points. Flatwork was ok, nice but hadn't done any lateral work yet! Jump was nice, quick with front feet but odd. I got on and his flatwork was nice. Jump felt amazing, he was very quick to turn etc, much better thn it looked. Quite interesting, as its the second P.Rising horse I have ridden and it's quite different to the other. So I also liked him!

In the car we had a good discussion. We like all of them but the main issue is price. All are obvisously negotiable, especially first two as they need to sell. Number 1 is the most expensive, but we thought we could get him for £15,000..then, we get a call. The owners have just had news that someone else wants him ,who said before us. People would rather sell it to us. Problem is, others are offering close to the asking price, which means we have to offer a bit more than we wanted, so not good. They wan't us to make a decision tonight, but we will wait till tomorrow.
So, by tomorrow I will probably be buying a horse! Most likely 1 or 2.
Look on the links and photos and tell me your thoughts! SAorry I didn't get photos but we cam-corderd it and thats at home, and I'm at school. If I get one, I will take photos of video for you.
Cheese and wine if you got this far!
