A little Spider update.....

Like most of us we have fallen foul of the recent snow and ice, my arena was still under several inches today but with the winter regionals looming fast time off wasn't an option. So twice last week we boxed up and used a local indoor school....

So, far from the ideal run up, especially as we decided to change our freestyle music totally just a week before the big day, but at least, hopefully, we will get there!

Feels a far cry from the summer regionals! When I uploaded the above onto my Photobucket, I found these....

Thank you. It was the hardest thing in the world to hand over the reins of my beloved boy to someone else, however when I watch them working together I know it was the right thing to do.

Worried1, of course, I'll sort it tomorrow.
 
He is looking fab, in fact to me he looks even better in these than in the ones from SSGB, maybe a bit more collected in these, and that makes him look a bit deeper through the girth? And you need to tell your rider not to put his top hat on the back of his head ;)! Good luck for the regionals, which classes will he be doing?

Thanks, yes, I think he was tired at SSGB which was a shame. As part of our sponsorship deal with Ideal saddles, he'd had Pliance and Gait Analysis for 3.5 hrs a few days before. I hadn't realised it would take that long or take that much out of him.
Yes, had noticed the hat but sadly not at the time only when I saw the photos!:eek:

He's doing Open Elementary ordinary and Freestyle.
 
Thank you, I feel he is very much a Forum baby, as although not born one, I did buy him at 2 weeks and he had made appearances on here ever since!

measles, he is KWPN reg. By Goshka Ringo and out of a double branded Danish mare by May Sherif.

dressage-diva, he will be 7 in June. He did not a lot as a 4yr old, at 5 he did some BS then last year made his dressage debut.
 
I remember when you got him and posted about him!!! WOW he has grown up so much and is a complete and utter stunner! You deserve to feel very proud! Good luck for the regionals - please post a report with tonnes of pics :D
