Well, lots has been going on lately, Jerry had a week off and lost a shoe, had the farrier out this morning and he was hot shod for the first time, he was ok, a little bouncy but nowhere near whathe was like a few months ago.
Farrier had a look at Spooks feet, and has asked for first refusal on him next year, so am really chuffed that I hvae almost managed to sell him without doing a thing with him LOL
Arena is nearly finished, just waiting for the ground to dry up a bit so they can get in the field with the woodchips, so will hopefully be ready by the end of next week
cant wait!
And for some unknown reason I am taking Jerry Xcountry schooling for the first time on friday
think I will just let him have a play in the water and just get used to lots of horses around him, and if he is very good we may attempt a jump
He has been going really well in lessons lately, I dont know why I was having doubts tbh, (must learn to trust my own judgement more
) he is now jumping fillers, and barrels and scary plank type things (all around 2ft but dont want to push him yet)
So, wish me luck on friday, will hopefully come back in one piece
