A Lugs Update

Thankyou everyone for your kind words, it really does help!

Went down to see her this pm, she'd been resisting passing the afterbirth so she was having some nasty injections and was feeling pretty rough. She's feeling bit more normal though as she's little miss stroppy! The bleeding had stopped but he wanted to help the afterbirth along so had to do an internal and thats started it up again, aparrently she's very torn inside, probably from the stray foot.

Bless her, she's desperately thirsty but they cant let her have more than a mouthful every hour as she may colic. Last night she was drinking her own blood, she was that desperate

But she's still fighting, if she gets through the night without too much more fluid loss then we're hopefully over the worst. For now the fostering idea has gone on hold as she just isnt well enough to cope.
