a major dilemma solved-fingers crossed and a big thank you!!

ok i have a talented horse in all ways apart from fact he wont travel alone-last time i tried i nearly lost him when he reared over breach bar of trailer,ended up on his head and had to be cut out by fire brigade. have since bought a specially adapted lorry for him. anyway for last couple of years have been reliant on taking a friends horse with me but she has lost interest in her horse and competing so normally he just comes along for the ride!! she has learnt to abuse this situation by not coming to see her horse for weeks on end,not paying bills and leaving me all the work as she knows how much i love competing and can not do so without her lending me her horse!! any way thanks to wilde 2 another forum member who i can not thank enough we have today persusaded my old horse who has not travelled much and certainly only in a trailer with to load nicely into lorry and mangaged a short drive after which he unloaded and loaded again easily. its early days and we are trying again tomorrow and i know nothing is guaranteed but i feel so much better tonight knowing i can do what i love doing without being beholden to any body!!

congratulations.do little and often and im sure youll both be fine.when my horse panicked we drove a tiny way down the field in the trailer every day and know she is great to travel
