Am trying to get hold of a field shelter or cheap smallish stable as a quick stable solution for a 13.1 we've just taken back from loan (leaving her out 24/7 isn't an option in this case). I've never bought a stable or shelter before but was amazed how expensive they seem to be (ebay, google search etc).

We have the means to pick one up within reasonable distance (we are based in North Yorkshire) and/or to assemble a flat pack and it would be on a good concrete base so doesn't necessarily have to be a mobile one or anything snazzy to keep costs down. We are also able to renovate or repair an old one etc, but just want the basic structure for a quick fix.

All suggestions gratefully recieved! Thanks!

we purchased ours from oakley timber in cheshire they seem to be very reasonably priced but agree on the whole stables/shelters= v. expensive.dont confuse oakley timber with oakley stables in south england, they are expensive. oakley timber (cheshire), don't have a fantastic website cos dave and mike aren't computer people but they know what they are doing. I would call/email them. I will try to find details and post/pm to you. we are very happy with ours:D
