A new beginning....name down for a puppy

Well, I just couldn't bear the thought of not having a waggy spangle around the house, so I've just gotten my name put down for an upcoming litter of blue roan mummy/orange roan daddy Cocker Spaniel pups.

I decided it had to be a cocker again, but I didn't want another one that looked like Jasper.

Owners are expecting a large litter with possibly some tri-colours. Ideally I'd love a blue roan, but I'm not fussy.

I have the name picked out....Harvey.

Patches, what a great idea, a snuggly puppy will help loads... as you've already picked a name, pray they don't have an all bitch litter!!! ((( ))) to you.

I am sure this will help ease the pain of losing Jasper. It is a very good idea to have a different colour, you won't be comparing. Fingers crossed there is a lovely little Harvey in the litter, when are they due?

Any day now!!!! Mummy is as big as a house. I am praying there are lots of dogs in the litter.

Qutie by accident when I lost my beloved Holly suddenly and unexpectedly we ended up rehoming a 6 month old rotty bitch just over 24 hours later. I miss my Holly joll sooo much even now. In fact am quite tearful just writing this post, but Sage was such a clown she helped us through our grief. I cannot live without my doggies and although losing them is devastating there us always another character waiting to enliven us!!

Spangles make a house a home! I mean, you know, not necessarily a home you'd want to live in, what with all the pawprints, and tail swipes on the walls, and chewed up tissue confetti... but still, very homely

That's good news Patches - I think that even if your new dog was the same colour as Jasper there will be so much difference in the characteristics and behaviour of the new pup that you couldn't possibly compare them.
We have 3 border terriers and they are all totally different.
