I had my tibetan terrier pts about 4 months ago and felt there was something missing ever since. Yesterday on a whim I walked into our local pet shop and saw an ad for a jack russell bitch age 4 needing a loving home so I phoned the number. I spoke to her owner who said that she had had her because she had been dumped at the vets where her daughter worked. She was in pup and close to death because she was too young so too small and a puppy was stuck. She had a caesaerian and the nurse took her to her mum's. She had been there ever since but gradually she had been terrorised by this woman's older dogs. She lived in a tiny cottage and for a over a year had been trying to rehome her.

When I got to the cottage she lept into the dog crate in my car boot and settled down to sleep. Since then she has been so good that I cannot believe how lucky we are. You only have to show her something twice and she has learnt it which is great because apart from house training she has had absolutely no training. So a blank canvas with a wonderful temperament, I wish everything else was this easy! Her name is Tansy.
