A newbie says hello

Hi everyone!

Even though I've posted here before just recently I figured it was pretty rude to do so without even introducing myself. So I'll do this now. I'm from Germany, though currently working in Cairo/Egypt while my horse is waiting for me back home in Germany. I joined this forum, because I'll be working in Maidenhead from mid January till mid September next year and thought I might find some like minded people on this forum before I even get to the UK.

Anyway, my horse is a Wielkopolska. She's 17 years old, I've got her since she was 5 1/2 years old and broke her in myself. I'll try to attach some pics of her later. Take care.

Hi everyone! Thanks for the nice welcome.

So what do I do in Cairo? I'm working as geophysicist for a company that is looking for new oil and gas reserves worldwide, both on- and offshore, as contractor to the oil companies. I'm in Cairo since mid April, before that I have been working in Morocco. And like I said up next is Maidenhead. And yes, I'm thinking of taking my horsey with me when I go there.
