I've just bought a bag of this; they're doing a trial at the mo and I got a £5 off voucher.

Anyone else tried this? What did you think? Good value for money? (normal bag costs about £9 or so I believe); would you buy it if it was normal price?

I gave some to mine for his tea, and mixed it up - it bulked up a little but not as much as I'd expected, and IMO if you were feeding it as a hay substitute, which is what A&P are suggesting you do, I'm not sure there would be enough "bulk" there for one thing, plus it could work out a tad expensive.

My boy ate it OK, no problems there, but I just wondered what others thought? Experiences?

I've been feeding Dengie Hi-Fi Lite up to now, and that's a good bulk/forage food which you can't really go wrong with; but hmmmm, not sure if I'd buy the Fast Fibre again.

Mine loves it - I use it to wet down her feed as a sort of sugar beet alternative (I always dampen feeds but she has needed a bit more food recently and I couldn't get hold of any Fibre Beet so I got some Fast Fibre instead). I find it bulks out when soaked for longer (up to about five minutes) and the bag lasts ages. I CERTAINLY wouldn't feed it as a hay replacement though - it's not substantial enough for that.

Just started it and paid full price for my bag, im also using calm and condition, both mine love it, Im not using it as a hay replacer however just a small amount for their supplements then will see what happens through winter. I feed some Hi-fi in there too.

I thought the fast fibre actually bulked up loads, I stuck 2 small scoops in with 3 scopps of water and got 1/2 a bucket of the stuff

It's been a absolute godsend for my friends oldie, she came out of this winter with no weightloss and she loves it too xx

I'm FF biggest fan :) been feeding it since it came onto the market, love it love it love it!!!

Wouldn't feed it as a hay replacer though, only if I had an older horse who couldn't chew; if you soak it for a longer time it bulks up more

I feed it to my fatty - one small cup full to put his supplements in. He loves it but he wipes his slobbery mouth all over me when he's done!

It was only £7.50 I think from our feed shop.

I've just started feeding this too and my 3 love it. I'm using it instead of speedibeet to carry various supplements. Think it will be good for my 28 year old this winter. Its only £7 a bag from www.efeed.co.uk. Hi from a newbie by the way:)

I feed A&P Calm and Condition and the Fast Fibre and have been extremely impressed!! My boy struggles to keep weight on and the combination of these two see him straight through winter and summer looking great, with a beautifully glossy coat! xx

I used Fast Fibre as a hay replacer but I also bulked it out with dried grass chop, HI FI and Sugarbeet as it was becoming expensive to feed as a sole hay replacer. I think it is a fab product and I use it all year round in varying amounts.

I pay £7.70 from my feed merchant.
