Hi all, I was thinking about changing my 23 year olds feed to A&P veteran vitality instead of high fibre cubes. Just wondering if anyone has any reviews on it and any other suggestions. He struggles to keep the weight on due to having worn down teeth and struggling to eat hay (even though he does give it a good go) his front teeth are fine so is able to graze happily however during the winter it is definitely not enough! Thanks in advance! :)

It is good stuff, I fed it for a long time but when the horse had increased acth reading I stopped and changed to fast fibre. The VV has 15% sugar/starch and ideally 10% is better for cushingoids.

Easy to feed and palatable.

ive got my 24(ish) year old gelding on it. This was his first winter on it and he has done brilliant. He lives out 27/7 rugged with ad lib haylage. You need to soak it for a few minutes but im into the habit of soaking it overnight, and its mushy so i would say perfect for your horse. Im so impressed i put a thread on here a while ago and there were lots of people singing its praises. (people with a lot more experience than me!)

Amazing feed I've been feeding it to my oldie since it first came out. This is the first winter he hasn't had it and it's only because he's going through a fussy stage and is refusing to eat it but I feed it all year round and he only really gets that and his sups with a handful of chaff in summer :)

Thanks all! Just hoping it will help put on those extra pounds that he needs! Does anyone have experience with this and horses prone to dehydration? I doubt it would have an affect since its soaked but just checking, thanks again :)

I feed it sloppy and in summer when I went to an endurance or common ride I mixed a handful into a bucket and added electrolytes to rehydrate and he drank much better than with plain water and electrolytes :)
