For those of you who use a Pessoa or similar piece of lunging equipment, do your horses buck in them?

I have to say that my mare has always bucked in it and so do a majority of the horses I lunge at work. And before we get into debates about it fitting correctly. I am 100% sure it does in all cases.

It is more out of interest that I ask. Thanks
 
No, never had one buck in it.

Do any of the horses buck when being lunged without it.

If the answer is no I would suggest you have not got it fitted correctly.
 
My boy Stan bucks in it when he goes into trot - he tucks and bucks. But only for a few strides. I have tried putting it looser and it still makes him buck for the first few strides in trot
