Colline; I'm in Canada

Amy; PLEASE don't mention snow, Lol!! I am hoping that it won't arrive until December, but last year we were hit early in about the 3rd week of November. I am really not ready to give up summer
crazy.gif
, but I know it doesn't have long to run. I am having the pool closed next week and putting my winter duvet on the beds tonight. Very chilly at night times now but still shorts and t-shirt weather through the days.

Can you put the palomino in the post! I am in love, thats it def need to move abroad!!! altho it is lovely here today! if only i could a. walk b. ride!!! oh well the road to recovery!!!lol!

You only live once ...

smile.gif

Of course, if you aren't ready to do the biggie, you know you are always welcome to come for a holiday.
smile.gif

You have a lovely place - hmmmmm there are times I could happily dump England - older I get, worse it seems, more stupid rules, cameras and politically correct attitudes - can now understand why my Dad and two brothers left for good to live in Thailand.

How much would it be to ship out a clydie and a gypsy cob, plus 4 cats and one OH?
grin.gif

Which palomino? I have 4 palominos, and I don't even like palominos, Lol! - one is sold though, and one is one of my personal horses which I won't sell, so you have only 2 to choose from
grin.gif
. I'd suggest the metallic one (not Breeze) because she is the only one on the market right now
laugh.gif
. Save your pennies though and I'll offer Breeze up for sale in the next year or two.
smile.gif

I know what you mean; that's why we ended up here; hubby could not bear the British Govt any longer.

Hmm shipping might be a bit spendy for all of your guys; well the cats and OH wouldn't be too expensive
smile.gif
.

really any i have a soft spot for palominos my girly was!! Ok i am getting saving, i am allowed to buy another horse in a year or so, must buy a house first tho (just have to decide where!)!!! I would have them all! to be honest!
smile.gif
laugh.gif

haha, umm I wish OH wants to move somewhere abroad, but he keeps hearing how expensive Oz is now so thats out the question! but depends on work, but guess i work for a candian company! umm...ahhh must stop!!!!!!!!!!

Blimey Tia...you got a hell of a tribe going on there! How many have you got now?!? I rememebr when you fist moved over, when the ponies moved over and when you finally had you shipping container delivered!! lol!

I know; it all seems like a million years ago now. All of the joys and some of the frantic moments, particularly with that darned shipping container, Lol!

I don't really know how many I have. I generally keep around 20 of my own, but I have sold a few recently so not too sure how many are still owned by me. I have been awfully lucky though in that a number of my buyers have chosen to board the horses at my farm, so although I don't own them anymore, I still deal with them on a daily basis AND get paid for looking after them!
laugh.gif

This farm has 100 acres, however in all there's about 190 acres; 160 workable and 30 acres of dense woodland, which is part of a large forest, so offers terrific riding
smile.gif
.

The opportunities in the States are greater, in my opinion.
smile.gif

Lol! It's not too difficult; just pack your stuff, book flights, voila!
laugh.gif

Oh forgot to add, waiting years for Immigration
crazy.gif
; there are always down sides to everything we want to do in life; don't forget the winters we have here
shocked.gif
.

Yes this is my driveway, and yes those things poking out of the ground are fenceposts, and yes that is one of the pasture fields on the other side of the things poking out of the ground.

This is the field in question in the Spring time; so much nicer here in summer than winter.

It is a very pretty place to live. We liked this farm because it was very much like where we lived in Hampshire, with all the nice hedgerows around the fields; that's not too common where I live, most people pull out the hedgerows around here to make bigger fields; but I like my smaller fields and all the trees.

Buena is an absolutely gorgeous yearling. She is the most tactile and gentle creature ever. Has an amazing pedigree and on more than a number of occasions I have seriously considered keeping her.
blush.gif

Right that's it. As soon as this baby is old enough to leave with Grandma, I am coming to visit!!! Unless of course you are under 10 feet of snow at the time!!!

I love Buena, she really is a pretty girlie!

Thanks Boodle - your place always looks beautiful to me aswell
smile.gif
.

Harv - give it 6 months, your little one can stay with Grandma and you can get your butt up here!
smile.gif
Not long to go now eh? I was looking at your signature just yesterday and couldn't believe where the time had gone! Very best wishes for a safe and painless (or as little as possible) delivery.
smile.gif

tongue.gif
wink.gif
). we were in america near the candian border in april and we were surprised what we could get for our money! sorry for all the questions just curious!

Lovely to see Legacy
smile.gif
Doesn't she look like her Daddy headwise... and bottomwise
smile.gif
So she's as big as her mum now isn't she?
Lovely pictures...

We are in Ontario, just north of Lake Ontario. Land/property prices here are WAAAY cheaper than in England; however the cost of living, compared to the UK, is the same or greater in a lot of respects; so once you are here you have to work pretty hard for your bucks and they don't go very far.

Just as an example; my next door neighbour has just put her farm on the market; absolutely beautiful old limestone house with stables, barns and a small indoor arena; 150 acres, situated on a road less than a mile from a decent sized market town. $1.4 million; so about £750,000. Yes a fairly substantial amount of money, but offering so much more than you could ever get anywhere in England.

Limestone House

If you want something a bit different, then this house is right next door to the limestone house;

Castle

Thanks HP and Colleen

.

Legacy is bigger than her mum now; mum is only 12.2hh, so I guess she is taking her height from daddy who is a full up 15 hander. Yes her head is the double of her dads!! So is Breeze's head identical to his. Crumbs it was the only thing I didn't want them to take from him ... sods law eh? The butts on them both are huge too.
cool.gif
I like big butts
