What a novelty...

My daughters and I will be at the yard tomorrow for 7.30am to ride their pony and my WB before A) it gets too hot and B) THE HAY GETS CUT!!!!!!!!!

Thank the lord/ Allah/ Mother Nature- them all!

Huge smile on my face!!!!!:D

Indeed I do. The mud, the poo stains, the never white tail, the bottomless pit appetite... :rolleyes: my boy doesn't look as grey as the one in your profile pic though, he's still got dark legs and mane, and dapples, but he's whited out considerably in his 5th year, and boy does he have the stains to prove it :eek:
 
I just checked the same forecast for my area and it has rain every day so no smiling here :(. On the plus side, a different forecast said it might be sunny for 1 day, woop woop!
 
isn't that forecast just a beautiful thing to see after all the days of rain:D:D

our farmer here was cutting for hay today until mid afternoon when we heard a rather loud clunking and grinding and then all went quiet!!:eek: who knows what got mowed but it didn't sound good!
 
Happy day indeed. :D
We got all five horses washed scrubbed and fly treated. They stood happily in the sunshine and enjoyed their pampering. Boy, were they dirty! They all trotted away happy and sweet smelling and Did Not roll in the mud.
I actually think they appreciated being clean dry and mud free for the first time in weeks. Let's hope it continues.
