If you want to buy something off me (a rug,in this case), you send me to the post office to get it weighed for postage costs, you take half my text allowance asking questions about it, and you say you will pay for it on Friday-please do! Then, when I text you on Tuesday to ask did you send the money to paypal (knowing you didn't) please reply and let me know either you were late, or you no longer want it.

So, if it's you whose been messaging about buying a rug, thanks for wasting a whole heap of my time! :mad:

Let that be a lesson HAMM! I can't believe you parted with your goods before you received any money!!

I do hope this person pays up... If not I'd be calling on some hefty male friends to go door knocking.... And it wouldn't be to carol sing!!!

OP for next time if you weigh it at home (normal scales with and without you holding it will give you a good idea) the post office web site will tell you how much it is to post with all the different options for recorded etc. and limits on size dimentions.

Might save you some time next time!
 
Ummmh how do I admit this.
A fellow livery, a lovely girl I should say, had my Albion saddle to try on her horse in early August. Every time I ask for the money her mum is getting it, is not well etc etc. she is lovely and I don't want to take it back as this time last year she was in hospital after a bad riding accident. She is only just riding properly again. So I have finally said payment by the end of month please or i want it back. I feel guilty now but it's a blooming good saddle and I need to be paid for it but I don't want her to stop riding.
 
Oh no tallyho I didn't send it...after them telling me they were desperate I went to get it weighed etc then asked how did they wantto pay....they said Paypal at the end of the week when they got paid.

I think they were hoping I'd send it first, perhaps explains why they spent time casually chatting....I'm so gullible sometimes :-(

Oh good. Thank goodness. Well at least you haven't lost out. Time wasted which is annoying. Why can't people just say when they don't want something?? Cowards.
