Some of you may remember me posting months ago about my Roma Merion Wool numnah and the dye which went onto my horses skin and would not come off?!
Well I got a refund on the numnah and the dye never went away, but a few months later I stopped covering my horse in flyrugs and the dye started reacting with the sunlight-one poor swollen horse.

I wrote to Weatherbeeta explaining the situation so they were made aware of the problem as I feel other horse owners may not be aware if they had dark skinned horses- my horse is a coloured so the dye showed up quite easily but I didn't notice the swelling until my physio pointed it out and suggested I get the vet.
Anyway- they are sending me brousure (sp!) and I can have £100 worth of products!!! And to top it all of the dye has gone (6months later)

This has not happened with the product before but they are now aware of the problem in case of similar circumstances. I way extremly pleased with their customer service.

Wonderful- i have always found them helpful and eaasy to deal with. I was cross when the didnt do the orioginal shoulder gusset rugs for a time and i told them so!!! they sent me a very polite email and asked why the rug didnt fit etc.

So hurrah for you xxx have fun spending it

I have to say I think £100 sounds a bit cheap for what appears to be a fairly serious product failure that has caused suffering to your horse!!

Did you have any vets bills as a result of the swelling/dye incident and if so have you asked them to pay for those?

Better than the response I got from a well-known manufacturer of fly spray and supplements when my horse had a bad reaction to the DEET fly spray they sell - caused his skin to blister and peel. I followed all the instructions to the letter including a test patch. They did not want to know and finally refunded my money with extremely bad grace, telling me they had had no other reports of problems and basically it was not their fault. I now will not buy any of their products on principle and advise others against using them if I am asked about their stuff as the customer service was so appalling. .

Inders does fail to note that her lovely sis actually wrote the letter for her and will be getting her fair share of goodies too
