Am I the only one who gets confused and/or frustrated by what seems to be a new/current trend on the boards for posting the same thing in more than location? Yes, I've done it - and I apologize now :(. But those of you who do it frequently should know that I simply don't respond if I see two posts by the same poster on the same topic in different locations. I post to be part of a discussion and that's difficult to do with duplicate threads on the same topic (and by the same OP).

Of course, you could conclude that my contribution is (at best) negligible and your duplicate posting is worth the risk of my non-participation - in which case crack on and ignore me :).

I understand what you mean, but in my case it usually means I don't know where it would be best situated and I just need some help. Is that a crime?

Doesn't bother me at all and i've done it before.

Reason being is that not everyone goes into every area and so if you post in more than one location you can get responses from those who otherwise wouldn't see it.

Not a crime - no! ;).

Not high on the list of life's priorities by any means :).

And if you use the "new post" feature it brings up new posts from all areas . . . which is how come I end up responding to double posts . . .

Like I said - a polite request . . . jogging on now . . .
