re my post below about mix or nuts i thought id run a poll as to which you prefer to feed your horses and your reasons why?

Haven't read your other post but I voted Mix as I think its nicer

seems to have more variety. However P gets both on different days, somedays nuts, somedays mix and some days both

Mix because if you've ever managed a yard...and have to deal with unidentified feeds...it's a whole lot easier to work out what's in a mix

Good point S - one stud I worked at had about 10 different types of mixes - imagine if they had of all been in cube form

I put nuts because they go in George's boredom ball! He doesn't really have either though just hi-fi and balancer.

Depends on what Im trying to achieve, I prefer mix for energy but nuts for condition - absolutely no science behind it just what Ive found with my own horse.

Nuts - he's turbo charged enough. I have found most mixes to be heating in one way or another.

I feed both. He has competition mix and pony nuts in his equi ball. He loves them both
