A poo problem!

I've noticed that when i muck out some of the poos are like normal ones (made up of small balls of poo) but others are mushed together like a cow pat.


Could this be becuase of the spring grass coming through??

Advice please!, thankyou :)
 
My lot always have a "pick n mix" assortment of textures of poo! Yes it probably is that some has more wet grass and some more dry hay but nothing to worry about unless it is so wet the horse has runs down the hind legs.
 
Andy, if a stabled horse lies down for a nap in his stable he can often lie on a "normal" poo, squishing it flat and giving owners palpitations! I've been caught out like that before x
