A possible answer for those sick of fast drivers when out hacking...

I have just double double checked with a police officer friend of mine and as long as they are completely de-badged (must not have the word POLICE on it anywhere) then it is fine and legal to wear....

I've had a couple of PM's asking the question

thanks for the link - as i have just started hacking out my 4 year old on his own down busy lanes one of those will be perfect to keep the traffic carmer for him.
Just placed my order - bet the ebayer will be wondering why on earth there is a sudden rush on ex-police jackets! lol! :D

I bought one of the polite notice tabbards 2 weeks ago and boy do they work!! EVERY single vehicle slowed down for me on our hack last week i really saw a big difference, well worth the 20 quid imo!

Mine is, there's a variation of different jackets - if you're buying one of ebay, ask the seller.

Well I've got the hi viz exercise sheet and the chaps that the mounted force wear - just need the leg wraps!! My horse is going to be so so ashamed...

Can you tell me where you got hold of the chaps and exercise sheet??

I have the tabard, got it off ebay for £16 all in, might seem a lot but it does seem to work, had a few comments from drivers as they go by. Only thing is if they get too common it won't have the same edge on drivers.

Gah.. I bought them off ebay but it was that long ago they have fallen of my 'won' list. They are just all black with a hi viz reflective strap along the bottom. The person I bought them off makes them... Think I paid £11
