I know some people worry about rescuing as they think all rescue dogs are screwed up....

Well some of them are fab

easy-going

wonderful dogs

Henry is the mainest man

Had we not taken in Prince from my father-in-law, the dog would have gone to a rescue group/shelter, and I have to say that Prince is the most docile, sweet dog I've ever come across. No "issues" whatsoever.

I know how you feel... some people might assume that a rescue dog would be, perhaps, unreliable with children:

Or impossibe to let off the lead:

Or edgy and intolerant:

Rescuing this dog was the best thing that's ever happened to me! My family has had her for more than half my life now, and you could not find a better dog anywhere.
