Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! We did it! We completed a BE event! Wooooooop!

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Am I getting my big grin across yet? No? :D :D :D :D

After the Downham Disaster I didn't think this day would come, but it has! D and I made it round all three phases without disgracing ourselves to complete Keysoe BE. Unfortunately I'm off to A and E to get an X-ray on a suspected broken elbow (not D related, had a cycling accident last week and now that our eventing is out the way I figure I should get the dodgy lump that's appeared checked out ;) ) so don't have time to write a full post but I'll leave you with some very happy pictures and a link to my blog for those of you that want to know more and look at more happy pictures!

Fingers crossed you all had good weekends and appologies for the plethora of BD reports that are going to be coming your way now that we've finished eventing for the year,

V x

well done...I was there watching the be100u18 and we managed to keep reasonably dry so you must have been out in the bad rain when we were under cover having a snack....looked like a really nice course with good going, glad you enjoyed yourself...

congrats !! I also had BE triumph this weekend after 3 months off, must have been a good weekend for it :)

horse looks so happy doing his job ! :)

Well done you!! Great report, lovely pics and fingers crossed your elbow makes a swift recovery. :)

Thanks guys :) hopefully a winter of having fun Will lead to a more successful season next year.

Look at your grins!

Hurrah! Well done! Maybe, just maybe, she didn't like hard ground and grass the last few times out. Am so happy for you.

I certainly think for the show jumping that jumping on grass was a big factor - neither of us is particularly confident on grass (even more so than normal show jumping!) and because of a lack of transport we never practice on grass either. This was actually the biggest deciding factor in me ending my season at Keysoe as there are no other events coming up that I can do that have show jumping on a surface.
