Hi :)

Thought I'd drop in for a quick Puz update. She'll be 3 in June, she's stopped growing now, and is finally looking like a real pony! Just organising the last few bits for her backing, then she'll go away for a few weeks to a good friend to be done, before the summer. Trying to organise between WHW, instructor and myself has been manic! But nearly there.

Some photos I took yesterday :)

Thoughts on how she's looking are appreciated, I think she's holding onto a bit too much weight atm but she's not too bad.

Well, you know what I mean - she's now at extra full, so she isn't allowed to grow anymore! All her big growth spurts are done, but I won't decide what her proper height is til she's like 6 :P

Vet, back lady and farrier don't think she'll go up much more - maybe another inch or two, at best. But she is gonna continue to bulk out! :( can barely stretch my legs round her as it is LOL! might have to take up sidesaddle riding!

Well, in the 12months between last summer and this one, she went from a pony sized bridle to an extra full bridle!!!!!!!!!

thanks :) this year we'll just be pottering round the roads once/twice a week, meeting things in the school in a non scary way, poles etc..getting used to being together and having someone on her back and hopefully developing our bond even further. Next year when she'll be rising 4, we'll start picking up speed etc. Then we'll see what shes capable of. But if she's just a happy hack that suits me fine, she's with me for life regardless.

Thanks :) did a naughty thing and sat on her again tonight whilst she ate her tea :P

Sounds so pathetic but the feeling of being on her after 2 years watching her grow up is so lovely :)
