Just been through their website and have done the measuring of my legs and feet etc etc.

It says that my measurements don't match any of their off the peg sizes and that I need made to measure ones.

However, when I look at their sizes for off the peg boots I fit into the extra wide.

My leg height is 17 inches, both calfs are 18 inches, lower leg 15 inches and ankle 11.5 inches.

Is there anyone out there that has the size 6.5 foot in the extra wide calf measurment that can tell me what the fit is like???

I don't know if this will help, but I went online and measured feet etc, they said I was not an 8 (normal size) but more like 8.5 to 9. I thought this couldn't be right so gave up. Saw some in a saddlery and thought I would try them out. They were 8 xw and fitted me fine in the foot department and if anything were a bit too wide, I would need just a wide rather than xw. Decided on seeing them that they weren't really smart enough for what I wanted (county showing) and gave up.
To cut long story short I would say they come up about right size wise. Ignore their online thingy.

I too am looking for a decent pair of long boots that fit and am finding it difficult.I am a size 8 (wide fitting) and my calf measurement is171\2 inch.I am tall and well built and and people like us don't seem to be well catered for in the equestrian world.I do not want to spend a fortune on made to measure boots and it is unlikely that i will slim my calfs down to the slender size they were when i was in my youth. If you find any good boots pleases let me know.Thanks.

Hi there. I have the size 6 in extra wide. My calves are 17 I think. I started with just a wide which were too tight, extra wide is OK. I am sure with more wear they will give a bit more as well. They are lovely boots. I would say foot size is true - def not generous. I must confess though that they have only been on a horse twice in the two years I've had them as I find my short, ancient Aquacats more comfortable to ride in. I must make a effort to wear the Equitectors and get used to the long boot. Just a thought, is there a stockist near you at all where you could try them on for size rather than taking a chance? Good luck!
