I have been reading lots of posts about sheath cleaning lately (sorry, not a nice topic for your lunch hour) and just wondering about the squeaky noise my horse makes when he trots (usually worse at shows and it's embarrassing!!). Is there any way of stopping it? I don't clean his sheath, but it always looks pretty clean, he's never shy about getting his manhood out!

Its air being caught up in the sheath...nothing to do with a dirty willy! So don't worry!

Happens when the horse is tense (so I've been told). My horse's does it when he's a bit tense/wound up and trotting round

Yes apparently it's to do with air being caught in the sack that used to hold something else - if you catch my drift.
