A question for Freemax/Freeform users

I bought a special one the saddler recommended, but it had rubber like panels and rubbed her. I use a fairly thick one. I have the freemax jump though. Not had it long and selling it. :-(

I tried a friends today after much self debate about it and I used the norton pad she has brought specifically for the freemax and it made my boys back really sensitive after only being lunged in it :(

Can I ask why your swapping Spotsrock?

I have a bareback saddle too, literally stirrups and a roller. I'm going saddleless rather than just treeless and not jumping due to the complications with keeping her back straight. She's a bit different lol. It's less than 6 months old used handfull times and had event knee rolls added so a 'real' jumping saddle!

Got both types saddles. Freeform is sheepskin base, freeform is synthetic netting. They both need a decent pad with spine clearance.

I use an Equitex pad and cannot fault it.

A Suber pad? They give good weight distribution etc but bulk the saddle up and can make it unstable. I found it made my saddle slide terribly.
