if your dog has dew claws do you bandage the legs so they dont get caught and ripped off?

No
I have done agility for 9/10 years, with various dogs, all of which had dew claws.
Never had a problem.
I know of a few people that did bandage but only because the dog was prone to losing the claw, not many do though

Nope, never have done. My female does a nice job of hers on her run bars, anyway

No never did, that was just front dew claws though, never had any with back ones. I did know one or two people with collies who ripped their dew claws but that wasn't whilst doing agility but more when just running around playing.

My JRT has her dew claws and they've never caused her any bother. I have more trouble with her catching her skin on the rough surfaces of the contact kit

People mainly seem to bandage to prevent damage to stopper pads if the dog scuffs/ grazes them on the contact equipment.

I have a border terrier who only has front dew claws and don't cover them with anything.
