not all of it is expensive but there are so many facilities and opoprtunities if you want to compete, learn, shop or just hack!

Ditto the Glos area - there are so many places to compete and loads of livery yards

Pretty much anywhere in the West Country - Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Wilts and on up to Gloucs. All fantastic areas for horse lovers and a wide variety of areas in terms of price too.

north cambs/south lincs is very horsey.... every other house has horses. it is very cheap to buy houses with land (probably the reason why so many horses...)
