A question for those of you with sponsors

It totally depends on what they are doing for you. No two sets of circumstances are the same so it is impossible to say. From 3 of my sponsors I get whatever goods I want at trade price, the other 3 give me free goods (photographs, sports massage treatment and cross country colours)

You are welcome to pm me if you want more info.

My friend sponsors someone (BE) by paying entrance fees (can't remember if that includes start fees), and provides embroidered saddle cloths, rugs, and coats. I know she was surprised when she found out the company had to join BE and that reduced what they would spend on the rider. There's a lot of restrictions on what one can do so she's thinking about their next person being in a different discipline.

We sponsored someone in the world of showing some years ago. If I remember right it was just entry fees up to County level.

It's something we are considering for the second quarter of 2014 onwards. I think we'd do the entry fees, rugs etc., and maybe some contribution to other running costs. Don't know for sure yet. Need to speak to the accountant and get the up to date rules.
