It has been a while since Jack has had an outing (Last one was the NF Show), he's been busy chillin' and growin' since :D

We can't quite believe how quickly he has grown & filled out! He is now at the giddy height of 14.1hh He can't quite believe how long his legs are either...

We've been doing lots of ground work and he takes to it really easily, our instructor said he's going to be a doddle to teach lateral movements to :p I'm still not sure when to break him, he's pretty ready now although I still think he's a baby, but then he is my baby! I guess I can only try? Debating whether to send him to a friend who shows to do it, or do it myself? What would you do?

And we've done some spook-busting. Which he loved, he wasn't scared of anything the little rotter! After this photo he proceeded to try and eat the umbrella :rolleyes:

My little NF fillies have grown a lot and are now incredibly tame (well, for wild ponies!) Hoping to take the full bred out to her first show at the end of the season :) (the one on the right)

My dad has just bought a puppy! :D After years of "No, we are NOT having a dog", he's purchased a Kelpie (australian sheep dog) yet to be name, but my step-mum is fond of 'BACON' :confused::confused::confused:

Question...
1) I need a small ring happy mouth for showing in. His rubber bit is no good and he's great in his happy mouth but the rings are too big. Does anyone know where I can get a 4.5" D/loose ring (SMALL ring!) happy mouth?

I have 3 day old fairy-cakes if anyone is interested :D
 
Gorgeous photos, and actually I rather bizarrely agree with your stepmum, Bacon is a great name.

Why don't you ask your friend to come to you for a couple of sessions to get you started? Then if you feel you need more help she can take over but if he proves to be easy (and he looks like such a star) then you could continue his work. Alternatively you could just package him up and send him to me but I'm not sure you'd get him back :p
 
i have a small eggbut snaffle and they call it an eggbut bradoon because you normally use ity on double bridles. hope that helps in some way :)
