Someone has suggested that until we can rehome Gizmo, that we get a muzzle for him, so that he and Louis can be in the same room (supervised) with no worry of him seriously hurting him.
I dont know if this is a good idea or not? There is no risk of Louis attacking Gizmo, and tbh they are missing eah other and keep licking, huddling through the crate.
Any thoughts?

Ask Aunty Cayla, I reckon - go on, PM her, she loves it

As long as it is not full-time and does not make hime feel 'restricted' = more frustrated then I don't see the problem as an interim measure.
Although choose your type with care, I would go for canvas to avoid the temptation to keep it on all the time, and I know dogs who have done damage through basket muzzles.

I think it could be an idea.

I think you need to see how he is with it on.

I would go for the basket type.

I have seen to many dogs pass out from the canvas types because they couldn't open their mouths!
