Hello all :) Just wondered how you all think Ethel is looking at the mo. Not the best pictures but I just took them quickly after I'd lunged her yesterday, the roller probably wont help :o Anywho, here she is ..

She's a rising 5 TB, not doing a lot of work, have spent a week with her lunging with side reins which she's doing very well with. I know she needs more topline and muscle but that will come with work (I hope :p ) Although it doesn't really show in the pictures in real life she's currently a bit porky :p

Be nice :D

I LOVE her ears! Has she raced? She looks well covered and will look lovelier when she builds up muscle, just what you said! Lovely girl and good luck with her.

Haha she has got massive ears :p No she never raced but was in training for about 6 months as a 2 year old (I got her at rising 3) Thank you :)

Was just going to say that she could probably do with a bit more muscle but you've already said that, but considering she's only 5 and not doing a lot of work she is looking GRRREAT!

Really good condition and she has such a lovely lovely face :)

what are your future plans with her?

edit: she also has a great shoulder on her too!

She looks fab, yes lacking a bit of muscle as you said but she's nicely covered and looks lovely and shiny :)

Love those big ears! (isn't it supposed to be the sign of a kind heart!?)

Did you make the move to Newmarket ? Sorry if im thinking of someone else!

Thanks everyone :) I plan to do some eventing with her, just some small stuff, later on. This year I have an inhand show in July and sponsored ride in September planned but hoping that once we've got our schooling sorted to do some clear rounds with her :) In a few years I'd like to breed a foal from her but that won't happen unless I know for sure that I can afford it and will be able to give the foal a home for life, so thats not a certainty!

Haha I'm not sure what big ears mean but they mean she can spot things a mile off! Yes we dis get to Newmarket :) Shes out in the field with two yearling fillies that she plays mum to and she loves it, in fact, theyre more sensible than she is!
