I am a long time reader and lover of HHO but just thought i'd say a quiet and slightly nervous hello!
I worked with horses full time until 5 years ago and have previously owned a 14.2 bay welsh x anglo arab gelding ( big fat beast with horse body/head and pony legs!!) and a 16.1 dapple grey ISH mare. I'm currently horseless and HATING it! HHO lets me stay in touch with current horsey news and talking points! So hello! :)

Hi I'm Petra,

2 horses to share (15.3 Irish cob and a 16.2 clydesdale x) and recently bought a 12.2 welsh . We are from pretty Wales.

What did you do 5 years ago? Working full time with horses must be fab ;)
 
Petra - I used to be an assistant manager of a 40 horse livery yard! It was hard work but ultimate job satisfaction! Where abouts in Wales are you from? I got my first boy from near Fishguard/Cardigan and we go on holiday there every year :D

LaurenBay - I've not been to Harlow! The closest i've probably got is Chelmsford/Writtle area? :)

I've often wondered if a 'sticky' easing newbies into the HHO world would be useful...

You know the form:

If there's nothing on the telly, post about the pros and cons of Parelli/barefoot/riding a 2 year old and the fact that it's best to get your tin-hat out and the popcorn on...

If you wonder if Shils is winding people up, the answer is usually (but not always) Hell, yes!

If you want to know if 'I am a Cucumber' IS a cucumber, the answer is 'No'. At Christmas, she turns into a sprout.

If you need a virtual hug from someone, Sarah sum1 is one of many...

If you want to listen to a rant about hunting, there's always Judgemental.

And if you REALLY want to stir things up, say how much you like a former/current member called JM07/bakedbean.

Anyone want to add any Newbie pointers? :p:D

I am from the Brecon Beacons area. Beautiful countryside with amazing views while hacking over the Black Mountains :)
